For all those wondering if the product is water water or proof resistant, or whatever, I’ll say this: I surf with this watch 5+ days a week, and it keeps on ticking.Had it a few months now.Upon purchase, was weighing this extremely inexpensive watch with surfing particular watches ($100+), and decided for the price that this would be with a shout, since all it must do is not die especially, and tell me enough time while I surf.
I hope that’s true.It was running when it had been delivered.I have no idea if it’s an old view so in retrospect the price is so good.Casio watches are much more expensive usually. Setting enough time & date took awhile.Buttons drive me cuckoo but We finally got it and it’s very accurate.
I have four of them and they are so comfortable. The other two features I love concerning this Timex is that it is water resistant and lights up when the stem is pushed in.I will not buy a wrist watch that is not water-resistant.Also, having the ability to see the period when it’s dark, like in a cinema is an excellent feature. The facial skin is a really nice charcoal grey color with clear white numbers – very easy to read.I love everything concerning this watch.
A few things I’ve learned from the company. The view is waterproof 50m under water. There is a ring about the watch that can rotate in a single direction. Its purpose is aesthetic purely. There is a countdown function about the watch. The lowest period of time you can countdown from is a minute however. So you can’t place 30sec or 10sec countdowns.
Nice watch! It IS LARGE but light-weight and was not a problem for me ( I am moderate built). For the purchase price it was a great option for a temporary dive watch. We am a recreational diver and cannot justify a high-grade multi-hundred $$ dive view, nor do I feel like taking my regular watch under water. So this watch worked fine as a vacation watch.
This a straight forward classic analog watch.Nothing fancy – purely functional. Great looking and appears to be very durable.Timex makes reliable watches.Get a great watch at a reasonable price.Have owned it for more than a year and fine still. The calendar gets off by a complete day or two and no fun to correct. That’s the only concern.
