I would strongly recommend this crochet edition where one can either put on the ribbed or crochet pattern in leading and alternate it to create it look like two different scarves seeing that half of the scarf is ribbed (the right vertical lines) and half of it really is a crochet looking pattern.
Looking towards my next night video game in a week and if it is cool i will bring this! It was 35 degrees that evening btw.The colour is i’m all over this true red! Will be buying other shades if they’re had by them up coming year! Looking forward to putting on this next winter!
Soft and lightweight yet warm, packs small for travel. The Silver Gray color includes a slight pinkish cast, almost like taupe.Though I’d have preferred a more bluish gray, continues to be pale and neutral .The fringes are longer (same as the various other shawls I ordered) which I don’t really like because they have a tendency to tangle and fray; I may knot them to shorten.
This is definitely a cold weather scarf; it’s huge and heavy so it’s not really the most flattering thing, but it is usually warm, cozy and soft enough to wear whenever your significant other won’t put the heat on past 68 in the winter and you possess drafty windows by the couch!! But I digress..It isn’t itchy like some cheap acrylics and it’s really an excellent price; would buy it again.
This is a substantial amount of thin material so that it can be worn as traditional neck scarf or a loose and unwrapped without getting back in your way or overpowering your outfit.(I actually wore it recently with a dark dress and dark denim jacket as a subtle pop of color to a special event of life/funeral ceremony- and the scarf hung loosely and tucked in nicely to the coat instead of getting tied around my neck as a focal point. However, there is enough material that if you do decide to wrap the scarf it is ample and full…which isn’t usually the case for scarves thin enough to wear in the spring.
It really is even prettier than in the picture,so many beautiful colours.I love how big is it — so many options to tie it and because it’s not too thick,it drapes beautifully, and is indeed feminine. It’s so soft, and it offers warmth if necessary without having to be hot.I have already been playing with it all afternoon, tying the ends, making a triangle, tucking in the ends, building an oblong, tying a knot in the guts,criss-crossing,and much much more. This is an exquisite scarf, the colors are so so pretty, and the fabric is just luscious.I am SO happy with it.And I’m getting more!! Highly recommended.
